Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3 BIOS vF10b corrupting Disc Data

Yesterday I have configured the Samsung BluRay drive and getting lots of disc errors. If I burn a check disk, I can see lots of corrupted files. I cannot tell whether the issue is about the bluray drive or OS. It is getting really worse. I had tried this drive in other computer and there it is fine. My system specs are as follows:
    • Windows 7 64 bit
    • 8Mb 800Mhz RAM
    • Intel Core2 Quad Q9505 processor
    • Samsung BluRay drive
    • Nvidia 8800Gt graphics card

First of all make sure that you have connected OS drive to the first Intel port SATAII_0 and Blueray drive to the last Intel ports SATAII_4 or 5. I know that it is not how you have connected the drives but it could solve the problem. Also make sure that you have the latest Intel INF chipset drivers. Before installing this drivers make sure to remove previous one completely and run Windows repair utility if there is any problem with OS.

It seems to me like a BIOS issue. For that I will first clear CMOS if it is the cause of old data. After that I will remove main power cable and press the CPU power switch to completely drain the PSU capacitors. After that put all back and turn of PC. Enter into BIOS and choose Optimised BIOS Defaults. Make some necessary changes and press F10 to save and exit. If it still didn’t fix the problem, then you have to fresh install the Windows.

It doesn't sound like an OS problem or the software problem. It looks like you have an incompatible drive. The Samsung drive or may be its drivers may not be compatible with the Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3 BIOS vF10b. Have you tried contact the Samsung regarding the issue?

I hope that you are using compatible software for writing Data on the BluRay Disk.
