SLOW USB SPEED on Asus p5Kpl-vm motherboard

so i have kingston USB 2.0 (4 GB)
my motherboard is ASUS P5PKL-VM which supports 2.0 USBs
2 GB ram kingston ddr 2
i have 4 usb ports at the back of my CPU. I checked them all, they are working at the speed of 1.0 USB.. (4 mb/sec)
somehow i managed to enable my front usb ports.. but they are also slow..
and i went to my bios.. and selected "Hi-Speed" in USB configuration instead of FULL-Speed.. but my problem is not solved... PLZ anyone help me... im dying!!!

There are some tools which can help to find the speed of usb. You can run the tools and test the same. Once you had enabled the high speed usb settings, then it must give you better speed. Also remember that the voltage of usb is regulated and control by the board. If it is low it will not give you performance. Other than this the tools are.
