If you have enabled Fast Boot on the system of your than you should simply hold down F2 key and power on the computer so that you can get into the BIOS. We know that BIOS supposed to check hardware devices and counts all the system memory available. RAM takes longest time to be counted. Such system tests are not necessary to be done when system getting boot every time. Hence I am suggesting that you should turn on quick boot feature.
It will not harm your system at all if you have enable quick boot feature. In many system the above mentioned feature is already optimized for the performance. Only drawback is RAM gets self-destructs and BIOS will not able to catch the same and you will get an error message from the OS installed on the computer.
