    First mainboard created with two sockets

    i want to learn whats the first mainboard created that had two cpu sockets, that one socket support intel processors and the other socket amd processors, thanks

    Such boards are called Dual Processor Motherboards. There are many such boards available in the market. For example Asus Z8PE-D12, Asus Maximus IV Extreme, etc..

    The first such board was MSI MS6107 i guess..not sure about it.

    hey thanks for answering, i searched about the msi ms6107 and i find out that the chipset for MSI MS6107 is 440FX and then i looked anandtech which it says that this chipset dont support amd processor only intel...
