Cannot set CPU voltage over 1.27V using MSI 990FXA-GD80 B6 BIOS

Yesterday i have flashed to the new B6 bios but unluckily my new MSI motherboard cannot get me the CPU voltage more than 1.27 volts, So there is no way i can overclock the processor using this BIOS.
    AMD FX 8120
    Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600Mhz
    ATI Radeon 5870 1Gb

I think after the 4.2 cannot have low voltages by default, it comes at the end of a 1ghz OC. However putting LLC extreme would be like if it were disabled, the LLC is to lower the tension of v.core when CPU is in full. I have with my 2500K to 4.5ghz 1.320v vcore of idle (bios 1315) and LLC level 1. I increase the vcore id 0.16, so arrive in full up to 1.36, which is a pretty good value

First you need to know exactly what you can do to your processor with a simple overclocking: Warranty, lifetime shortening of the CPU up to the burning of the shuffle mode. As you can overclock your processor depends on the processor and the motherboard. Jar file, you also have a fan that can cool the overclocked CPU problems. On the Internet you can find a lot of internet sites and forums that deal with the overclocking (overclocking). There, you will receive information on how to overclock with your motherboard and how high your processor can be overclocked.

The website of the motherboard manufacturer's BIOS updates are made available. Whether the desired functions are included, is questionable. Because it makes more sense to buy a motherboard with overclocking what you can and replace the old motherboard with it.

This can usually easier than to overclock the CPU by changing system clock or memory or RAM divider and is possibly the high VDIMM and raises perhaps the memory timings. This is possible with almost every board. The only question is: how much time and increase how much voltage does increase with the RAM. This is very different in different memory chips. Samsung TCCD / or TCC5 Winbond BH-5 Rev.1 - for example, most chips can overclock very well.

Regarding the OC on this board and no longer only the oc, in terms of its configuration, how you have the issue of energy options?.

However, the gain in performance is minimal. If you begin with overclocking you should in any case the money to have a new CPU. Fans are also better placed, because overclocking increases with the heat.

Under liquid nitrogen, the latest AMD have the chance - compared to Intel - not having to "Coldbug", which means that we can fill the bucket to the brim without being afraid to go down too low temperature. With Intel, we must be more careful because each CPU has a negative limit not to be exceeded or the system will freeze. It is then necessary to raise the temperature in order to restart. We had a small party to test the FX-8150 under LN2 and we were able to surpass the 7 GHz. With a little more time, we reached without difficulty that the 8 GHz! Here is a CPUZ validation which has unfortunately been validated with two cores active. We first obtained the same frequency of 8 cores, but wanting to climb higher by deactivating cores, a validation of two cores at the same frequency crushed that of 8 cores active!
