phenom ii X6 1055T BIOS does not support Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard

I have a problem about my gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard plus the Phenom ii X6 1055T CPU. As it at present stands, the last BIOS revision for this gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard launch on 14/1/2010 as well as that was still a BETA edition. At present that BIOS revision does not support the Phenom ii X6 1055T CPU. Does any person make out if plus while Gigabyte will release a BIOS update that is going to support that Phenom ii X6 1055T CPU? I have previously contacted Gigabyte support with no any reply so far. As well I was wondering does any person know if the CPU be able to be injured by utilizing it with BIOS that does not support it. Any assist would be very much valued.

from my opinion there is a very good chance your gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard will boot just well; your CPU just won't be exactly detected until you obtain the BIOS updated. My phenom ii X6 1055T is running in a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard that I purchase in a combo at MC. while I primary buy the phenom ii X6 1055T, the new BIOS was not out up till now, so the CPU was stuck at 800mhz. after that the BIOS came out, I updated, as well as the entire is great.

If you place a CPU in that is not accepted by BIOS you won't dent it however frequently your system won't POST.I have had occasions where I have installed most latest CPU's on gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 motherboard s as well as had to alter for an older one to update BIOS to identify the latest one. I have not approach across a CPU breakdown by performing this however it be able to be a bit irritating.
