NEW BUILD with MSI 870S-G46 does not boot

My system configuration is as follows:
    • MSI 870S-G46 AMD motherboard AM3 ready
    • GeForce(PNY) GTX 550Ti 1GB graphics card.
    • AMD Phenom 2 3.4GHZ BE
    • G.Skill DDR3-1333 4GB
    • Western Digital Caviar Blue SATA 7200RPM
    • Thermaltake TR2 600W PSU
    • Samsung SyncMaster P2370

AS I can say it is a new build. After configuring everything I turned on the system. The whole thing lights up and comes on to the extent those fans and the 4lights on top of the Motherboard. No sounds otherwise beeps and not anything on the monitor. The HDD light does not blink except is on as a static light.

Check the flat cable (ribbon cable and generally gray in color) 40-pin that connects the hard drive to the EIDE controller, in short, the cable that connects the hard drive to the motherboard: the legs must fit together perfectly (ie no foot must remain out of the cable).
When the red light on the hard drive is steady and nothing appears on the screen means that one of the EIDE drives have the cable mounted upside down.
Remember that in all the peripherals (hard disk, cdrom, burner, with the exception of some models of floppy drive) in the red colored part of the flat cable must always be directed towards the power connector or must match the pin No. 1.
Check if the master / slave jumpers are set correctly.

Of course there are all the systems of protection measures to prevent malfunctions and damage to the adapter and the system it is connected, among them are the protections for the 'Over-Voltage, Under-Voltage, Over-Temperature, Over-Current, Over -Loading, and shorts, all monitored by an LED rear lights that are necessary to report the fault.

I guess times that of the RAM is not getting enough voltage. Get yourself somewhere NEN DDR2 standard bolt (buddy or something) sit up in the bios voltage, then it should work.

It sounds like that is after the cardinal error (I've even behind me): There is no need for any of the newer motherboards four-pin auxiliary power connector next to the broad main connector. Older power supplies have usually not at all.

Re: NEW BUILD with MSI 870S-G46 does not boot

The reason for this may lie in the fact that there may be some instability in mechanical construction of the PC, meaning that some cards or some cables are properly connected and the slightest movement creates electrical or mechanical failure that causes a reboot of the OS (touching and not touching wires, power supply with defective parts, etc.). Normally the problem of instability of the operating system and subsequent reboot of the OS is caused by a defective electronic component, such as a form of RAM, a video or sound card, the less often the motherboard and even the microprocessor.

May be the sticks of RAM is not suitable and / or badly assembled (very often not included at 100%), or switches on the motherboard set to a wrong frequency).

It often happens that the RAM memory module is faulty, in that case should be replaced by a similar one.

If the problem persists it is not the form but rather the RAM memory manager of the motherboard (consult an engineer)
