Is it suitable to upgrade from Intel Core i7-2600k 5 GHz stable to Intel Core i7-3930k GHz for gaming?

I want to know this as If I wish for to go 3-way SLI then I have to replace my motherboard but I doubt if there will be any advantage to improve CPU to bulldozer or a 3930k for gaming purpose I have no doubt that I would see much development in fps right but still is it worth to have

Well my answer is no P67 board can support 3way SLI, nor is 3way SLI even worth the money so my suggestion is you should not go for this transformation just wait for now beside its wasted performance that board has an auxiliary chip. Adding up a Sata 6 HDD will kill PCIE performance if you don?t know this

The advantages that come from additional PCIe lanes instead of native CPU power premiums. P67 is not a superior platform for 3-way SLI, in general, except you wish for to mechanism for the function of the most ridiculously expensive Motherboard P67 and its is the hot running , high energy consumption, latency likely NF200 chip.

Hey now, just won?t go dissing the NF200 P67 boards without have not tried them? My Asus P8P67 WAS Revolution has had, or will record the winery, several of these forums, while running 3-way SLI, in fact, is defeated several systems with X58 processors 980X ... and I'm not just talking about benchmarks like 3DMark, I'm talking about bench press play. I agree with the statement that 3-Way SLI for the most part is pure exaggeration, however, have to run a lot, as well as PPU + 3-Way ... Mafia II at a constant 60 plus FPS with PhysX full all the way up is a pretty sight, though! As Metro2033 never dipping below 60 FPS. Honestly, though, you should have received a Revo Asus board was to begin, if you're planning to go 3-way SLI, which is really the best price-performance ratio vs. P67 motherboard that supports it, and as I have shown by pressing 4.6 with only 1 GHz. 36V, is clearly very good at OCing so.

Ok then the 2600K is over 980X in less anyway hexa threaded applications, but I'm thinking about what everyone says .. for now the only change I'm doing is putting my 580 in a loop . And then wait to see what the 3930 and the bulldozer seems .. I have the board from the start however if I update tables then I will not be doing anything else for a long time If I do a full upgrade to something else.

I don?t understand why do you require the 3 way SLI for gaming it is too much high config and the waste of money

Some might argue that the purchase of even a GTX 580 is a waste of money, as you only 560Ti report very good performance. I think the GTX 580 is certainly justified if his game to 1080 or more, and I want AA.

A 580 is decent if 60 fps in the most demanding games. 3D? No. I idea of going above 1080 and in 3D. Yet 2D surround i.e. 5760 x 1200 is very demand. Launches 3D and is probable to have 3-way SLI to remain the whole thing smooth

As far as speed is concerned than you should know the specs of processor. Intel core i7 is the quad core processor, therefor it has the option of 8 way multitasking. sticking to the fact will help you in understanding that the processor speed wil;l be equally devided for each active core. Hence as per my thinking there is no need for upgradation. The i7 itsef is the best processor ever made in terms of smart performence, graphics support it is phenomenal.
