Getting Errors in memtest86 on Corsair CMC2GX1M2A400C3

I just got a Corsair 2x1GB kit for my old system and the two clubs appear to be almost unusable.

I examined them one by one in different slots with different BIOS settings, both automatic (but with the stress of 2.7, otherwise you will not post more than once) and recommended (3-3-3-8), and I acquire a group of error in memtest86; chiefly (further than not only) test No. 7, tens of thousands of errors.

When it comes to two sticks in slots 2-4 or 1-3, that after a couple of times and then not publish even (with auto settings and voltage set at 2.7v DRAM - which runs 2.76 in reality).

I've been trying various things, but so far only a stick may work reasonably at 100 FSB: DRAM frequency, all other frequencies as the default is 200 (01:01) just will not boot keen on Windows (BSOD), nevertheless not seem to contain any memtest mistake with 166 FSB: DRAM, for instance, nevertheless cannot boot into Windows at all.

Either I am doing something wrong or that memory is not suitable for my motherboard.

As I am currently running two sticks in DIMM 1 and 2 (cannot do either dual-channel) in the frequency 100 dram. All also fail memtest and / or does not establish Windows. Is this impressive with my card or memory?

Test 7 indicates that there may be a difficulty with the memory controller on the processor. What happens if you put these modules in a different system.

Adding more memory puts more stress on the memory controller. It is possible, but the only way to really know is to try the modules in a different system.

We replaced, use the online form Request for RMA and we will gladly replace them. Be sure to check the box that says "I have spoken to technical support and / or individual RAM."
