Unlocking Sempron 140 on ASRock N68-GS

Is there somewhere I can get detailed instructions on how to unlock a AMD Sempron 140 on ASRock N68-GS motherboard. We love getting more chips for our money and hence we applied overclocking on processor. Now I want to do this unlocking task. The chipset in my board is:
    • South Bridge: AMD SB750
    • North Bridge: AMD 790GX
    • Ram: 2 GB
    • Bios Version: 1.30

I have tried a few things to fix this problem but to no benefit. Thanks for any suggestions to do this task.

For doing this task your system requires a motherboard with AMD SB710 or SB750 south bridge. This south bridge provides the Advanced Clock Calibration feature. AMD processors could be unlocked by some motherboards to gain an extra processing core. The BIOS setup program allows accessing this south bridge of the chipset. Then use this BIOs setup program and it will be work to unlock Sempron 140 on ASRock N68-GS.

I've had this unlocked to 2 cores and clocked to 4GHz for some quick motherboard testing. I do this task by using the BIOS of the system. I simply perform an BIOS reset task on it. This will be help me to set the configuration of the processor. Finally I was successful to unlock this processor.

CPU locking is the process of permanently setting a CPU's clock multiplier. The AMD Sempron 140 is a low-cost, single-core AMD CPU. I'm really getting the feeling that AMD is doing this on purpose. I think you just set ACC to auto and hope that it works. This option present on the BIOS. You need to set this option and it will be works to solve your problem.
