Re: I have physically damaged my chipset

You can expect a lot of things to go up with if its badly damaged. If it’s serious enough ,everything attached to board must have blown up ….sometimes when board goes off ,it takes whole ship down with it. If you want to set the things up just use those parts that can be replaced easily and cheaper . be very careful when turning it ON computer. I would recommend only attaching power supply and then add on few basic parts to see what it can handle. It would probably be safer not to use it . I am not taking any responsibility whatever goes wrong.

What the above friend has said I pretty much agree with it . The only way to say anything with any certainty would only be possible unless it is physically access to that chipset and a very detailed close up of the damaged area. Even it is not possible to give final certainty.

Or the best thing I could suggest is that, if your board is totally crashed down you can just do one thing is to dump your board nothing else can be done. Since it can have leaked caps and it is not worth to repair it .
