the reason why there is two diagram in your motherboard manual is actually there are two entirely different pin headers that is (1) JFP1 and (2) JFP2. In case of your mother board you can use the JFP1 on so simple. No it is not possible to use Either a 4 Pin or an 8Pin or even 2x4 Pin together connected that is a devoted +12V CPU power pin . Don’t try to plug a 6-Pin or a 6along with 2-Pin PCI-E power connecting pin into the CPU Power Socket.

actually some are able to do it while with some it does not solves. The mem regulator is included within the CPU and every CPU is having an unique sample, thus some mem regulator recognize the 1600 directly out and others simply does it not .make sure your XMP is already halt for a start, and then go directly into the BIOS and manually adjust your memory to the what values is provided through HU16E with single mem component installed. You may also need to do a CMOS clearing later than remove it entirely but the only one mem component or module prior to entering the BIOS.
