Coaxial S/PDIF and Dual Gigabit LAN on AMD 990 Series motherboards

I want to know about the most up-to-date 990 Series AMD boards. Those models that encompass S/PDIF on the back I/O panel appear to have simply Optical S/PDIF obtainable, not together Optical as well as Coaxial, since can be established within the Gigabyte Intel boards. Why is that? Do you think that it is:
    • a restraint of AMD platform
    • a fraction of a few Gigabyte policy to build AMD motherboards second-class people to compel to purchase Intel boards.

Gigabyte's awareness of the Coaxial S/PDIF output whiles an inheritance as well as needless interface? Furthermore why doesn't the GA-990FXA-UD5 encompass Dual Gigabit LAN?

AMD has officially launched, and discreetly, three 900-series chipsets: the 990FX, 990x and 970. They are designed for use with socket AM3 + (backward compatible with AM3) and fully support the FX (previously known as the Bulldozer code), the next generation of processors from the manufacturer. In addition CrossFireX, this new series marks the arrival of the management of native SLI on motherboards AMD. Indeed, unlike the previous series, two NVIDIA graphics cards can work together without the need for an nForce NF200 chip or the chameleon. Note that to qualify for certification SLi, it takes at least two wired PCIe x8 - x8.

This is frequently for the reason that when a latest platform comes into view it will sell in any case presently for the reason that it is latest, while it becomes further average in the marketplace the makers has to attempt to put in additional value to build the board show up from the opposition. This is while you lean to observe every one of the little extras similar to Dual LAN, Fast Charge and so on.

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-D3 is based on the high-end AMD 990FX chipset, but is performed in Gigabytes blue color scheme. The absence of the letter 'U' indicates that the motherboard uses the older Ultra Durable 2 technology as well as a 4 +1 power easier. The connectivity and layout are also very similar to that of the UD3 model. The Marvell controller is missing, and thus there is no eSATA. The same holds true for FireWire. Also, the number halved by only a USB3.0 connection eTRON controller to implement.

To be pale, Gigabyte appreciates together AMD as well as Intel followers put up for sale motherboards.....In my vision Gigabyte accomplish a pretty reasonable trade supplying a massive amount of boards to supply to the varied cross segment of necessary specifications and cost range.

AMD announces 900-series chipset with official support for FX and the Bulldozer CPU motherboards Socket AM3 +. The main differences between the three chipsets in the number of links for the installation of PCI Express video cards in the system. The 990FX will equip the top of the line cards + and AM3 will handle up to 4 video cards (SLI or Crossfire) PCI Express 2.0 with a link or two x8 @ x16 video cards. The 990X can handle 2 cards @ x8 or x16 configurations and the 970 will only allow a single video card @ x16.
