Hello to all that read this.
I would like to thank you for allocating the time to read through this and to let you know that I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to computers and such, unless it's typing up reports, sending poorly written emails to inter company personnel and attempting to make disgustingly amateur animations with professional grade software.
I recently purchased an HP G56 Notebook PC with 3GB installed system memory listed as:
1GB SODIMM DDR-2 800MHz Hynix
2GB SODIMM DDR-2 800MHz Micron
With a Intel (R) Celeron(R) CPU 900 @ 2.20 GHz with a 220GB hard drive. The Graphics devices are listed as:
Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
I was wondering if I could and what I would need to replace to upgrade the performance substantially. I want to be able to run animation software without the lag that happens on this thing. My desktop computer handles it just fine, but I'd like to have the ability to make it more portable so that collaborative efforts will be easier than uploading to fly drives or file sharing stuff.
All help will be greatly appreciated.
