    Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 BIOS Bugs

It seems to me that there is some kind of problem with my Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3. Actually it looks like bugs in BIOS. The problem is occasionally it will get trapped while trying to go into the bios
lofty vboost while the cpu is on load on top of the vcore.
    • vcore - inside the bios 1.350v
    • vcore - on still cpu-z 1.360v

Is there beta version of bios intended for the 990XA-UD3 similar to there is meant for the 990FXA-UD5. I have asked about this on Gigabyte but I didn’t get any reply yet.

I am also annoying to discover if there is a BIOS update intended for this motherboard for my friend who is also facing extremely comparable issues.

Gigabyte is working around the Vdrop to counteract that occurs especially when the CPUs include a turbo mode, like the P II X6 and the future of the bulldozers. Since AMD's AM3 + new requirements regarding base, power supply, voltage behavior and stabilities, etc., has implemented - make at least a portion of these new requirements and the P II X6 more or less noticeable.

First let's first set the default value. Next, I would possibly want to know what you are using for a CPU.

If an AMD Phenom II X4 may be in use, to waste no more thought. Because the Phenom II X4 yes no turbo mode as the Phenom II X6 has where the clock is shifted up under certain conditions at three cores, and thus, this bar also runs stable. The VCore is raised in addition to a certain extent.

A Phenom II X6 should be in use they have and you should watch how the CPU behaves under load. Even where all six cores are clocked the same and once the CPU behaves as if the turbo mode uses only three cores. Since then the behavior is to observe the VCore under load, which is set (in BIOS) as indicated for example in CPU-Z or AIDA64 afterwards and how much "sag" from the VCore later, even during the continuous load.

For the 990FXA-UD5 and UD7 there are already 2 different BETA-BIOS
    • F4B Modify USB keyboard compatibility
    • F5B is fixed VCore stability or reduce Vdroop.
