4 sticks ram ddr2 800Mhz not working properly with MSI 785gt-e63

I have a problem with four sticks of DDR2 800 MHz RAM installed. My pc is Athlon X2 250 MSi 785gt II-E63 4 sticks A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2 800 MHz ATI HD 3870 VGA Windows 7 Home Premium With 2 sticks works well without problems, with 4 BSOD on boot. I changed slots to try all suits and all works well, but only two DIMMs, with 4 the BSOD shows "error of memory management." Starting in safe mode with four suits of the works, but only two dims (ISM shows only two sticks) which could be the problem, as I have said all four suits works well, but only two at a time.

I had a couple of A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition 2 x 1 GB 800 MHz and everything worked perfectly, I just bought another pair of A-Data Vitesta 2 x 1 GB 800 MHz and pulled the four who got the BSOD. I took the two new clubs and just works without problems (I'm writing now). All BIOS settings are at default (ram unmeasured but also calibrate the BSOD). The new two sticks I bought are similar but not identical, they are always A-Data Vitesta Extreme Edition DDR2 800Mhz, but 2, 0 - 2, 1 vDIMM and the couple who had 1, 9.2, 1 vDIMM, so do not work together. I tried vDIMM increase of 2, 1, but not work the same, I find the right pair.

The problem is not the CPU, the test Ahtlon K10N IIx2 Asrock 250 on with my 4 sticks and the system boots fine. I think I found what is wrong, when I upgraded pc (Mo \ Bo-CPU-RAM-VGA), which connects the ATX power supply 20 pin connector on the Mo \ Bo ATX 24-pin, everything worked well as I have forgotten. I will soon buy an adapter 20 to 24 pin ATX and see if this is the offender.

I have two systems that use this forum (785GT E63) is using the Patriot signature DDR2_800 (4 sticks), and the other with 4 sticks of DDR2 1066 but it all mechanism completely (8 GB each system) - you memory can get this cheap at any electronics if you close one, and I was able to install the operating system (W764) with 4 sticks installed in the two systems rather than installing a regular dim the only initial operating system. I hope my suggestion helped you.

In my case, Mushkin 2x2GB DDR2 800Mhz connected and the same BSOD with Mushkin 1x2GB polished boots. This board does not address more than 2 GB of RAM.

    Boots well with:

    • 4x512 Mb Geil Ultra DDR2 800Mhz
    • 2x1Gb A-Data vitesta extreme edition DDR2 800Mhz
    • 1x2GB Mushkin DDR2 800Mhz

It could be a BIOS is the problem? I have installed the first (S0 is there any MSI technique can help me.

If I do what I call a "hard Clear CMOS" battery (for about two minutes), memory out, ATX unplugged. After all again (except at the beginning using only 2 GB of RAM again), optimized default setting, then immediately get into your BIOS memory section and raising the tension members of one or two steps. Boot, install other clubs (and the installation of solid dark shots), start and see how it flies.

My two systems fly perfectly well with 8 GB - as I said before, even install the operating system with all 8 GB in both systems. Both are also OC'ed. I am also running the same bios (latest) on both platforms. Perhaps the board is meticulous with more than 2 GB RAM? - Maybe I've had luck with this memory. I can assure you is not an issue Win7 OS. Beyond that, I would try to ram exact model I'm using and the past, even if you still have problems to get another board. Maybe your particular card is meticulous as might happen in the land of silicon.
