AMD Athlon 64 2650e performance rated at 2.65 GHz which is 1.6 GHz

Last two month I used this system and it will be contains the AMD Athlon 64 2650e processor on Emachines EL1200-05w. When I check its configuration on the BIOS then it will be describe its performance rated at 2.65 GHz. When I check the specification in the manual then it will be 1.6 GHz. I don’t know why this mentioned wrong specification. The RAM of the 2GB but it shows only 1.75 GB. Please tell me the reason behind this issue. Thanks.

i think you have misread something somewhere. This will be not possible in this system. This system will be contains the 1000 MHz above the cpu's stock speed. . These microprocessors include all basic features of K8 micro-architecture. The low-priced eMachines EL1200 Desktop runs Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. The desktop pc contains energy-efficient AMD Athlon 64 2650e, 1GB DDR2 memory, and 160GB hard drive.

This might be possible that the problem is present in the BIOS of the system. Hence I advise you to first check that the BIOS of the system will be work well or not. If this will be won’t work well then you need to perform the BIOS update task on this system. This will be necessary because the problem may be crashed the system specification and the related information. Hence try this and it would be helpful to you for solving this problem.

Yes, this is the best way that helps to fix this issue. In that you need to first check that the other CMOS setting of the BIOS is to be work well or not. If it is not work well then you need to perform the BIOS reset task. This is the also alternative way that helps to reset the changed setting of the BIOS. For doing this task you need to unplug the CMOS cell on the motherboard for more than ten minutes. Then insert it on this motherboard position. This will be help to you for solving this problem.

I think the problem is related to the BIOS. The solution over this is to be update the bios as well as check the connection and the configuration of the processor and the RAM. This will be specified that the processor actual specification. Normally if the BIOS doesn’t show the correct specification, then we need to perform the bios update or the reset bios task on it. This will be work and it removes the wrong specification.

I have knowledge about the RAM of the system and hence I wish to provide you the solution over this RAM specification. Normally the RAM inserted in the system is if 2 GB then the bios setting will show it to the 1.80 GB or nearly that. The reason behind that is the system manufacturer will be by default occupies the memory onto this RAM for the internal usage purpose. The other thing is that the RAM has holds the information regarding the number of memory slot as well as the memory type and its related information. Hence the Ram size in BIOS is quite low.
