    Corsair CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 vs CMG6GX3M3A2000C8

Right now I am looking for a proper difference among two CorsiarTriple channel kits: CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 as well as CMG6GX3M3A2000C8. Is the timing the just dissimilarity? Is the CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 kit not being prepared whichever new since I can't come across it on Corsairs site except I can locate it to purchase at online retailers. The simply reason I’m inquiring is there is concerning $190 cost dissimilarity among the two. For which one I should spend the money now?

I need over 6GB and the dominator GT 2000 8-8-8-24 i have (CMG6GX3M3A2000C8) don’t survive anymore and is restored with a latest one (CMT6GX3M3A2000C8) with somewhat looser timings (8-9-8-24). Would it be an extremely bad thought to obtain the fresh dominatorGT CMT and add to the combine otherwise would it be superior to go for a few 4GB sticks or a number of 6x2GB kit with "matched" sticks. I am though restricted to Corsair because of the memorycooler i employ.

As bring up to date, I experienced it out and it does certainly carry out at the rated pace - 2000 Mhz at 8-9-8-24, plus the X.M.B. in fact worked on top of my motherboard with no snag, something that gravely astonished me (formerly, features similar to EPP RAM and so on for all time ended up not operational right for me except this one presently worked right off the strike).

CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 6GB (3x2GB) 2000MHz CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 with Airflow fan uses very little and always at 1600Mhz. This kit is specially designed to create a trial channel motherboard with Intel i7 and X58, DDR3 kit consists of 6GB (3 banks of 2 GB) with CL8 to 2000MHz. Performance and reliability are the weapons that Corsair has in place. The Corsair Dominator Series GT tests and careful checks are made on the assembly processes of memory to ensure only the highest quality and performance certified.

I don’t know which one is capable your needs but I can advice you something about choosing among both. Apart from its ability is its frequency, which defines a memory. It is up to 2500 MHz for DDR3, although very few motherboards are designed to support this type of memory. Also consider that these high frequencies are often accompanied timings also high, i.e. a response time of the bar top. These timings have a relative importance in the performance of your machine, but it should find a compromise between high frequency and tight timings.

I suggest you to use of triple-channel memory, faster than the dual-channel type memory. But this means buying a processor and a motherboard more expensive. Some kits offer reserved for discerning fans to be installed over the memory modules. Practice to cool, less convenient for the silence of your machine. You can choose any one among those two but make sure that the guarantee is an important concept in the case of a memory designed for overclockers. Stay aware that exceed the specifications invalidates most of the time the warranty.

The question of memory arises first of all: there is no point to invest more than 4 GB of RAM if your system is 64 bits, for example; The frequency of your strips is another parameter: the more it is, the more performance will normally be high. However, be sure that your motherboard supports the selected memory. The timings are also an important factor: a model proposing timings will be tight in theory be more efficient and able to accept higher frequencies by slightly loosening; The strips are finally selected to tolerate a high voltage, often necessary to obtain high performance.
