How to set ram to 1066mhz from 800mhz?

Hey friend I have just got a new AMD 1055t x6 2.8 & 2 x 2 gig of Corsair Dominator 1066Mhz 2.1v 5 5 5 15, my problem is I have found out that when I am booting in it shows it is running with 1066mhz speed when I am rebooting it, it says 800mhz and the same is been said to be 400mhz instead of 533mhz? This is really weird isn’t it I don’t know anything what to do now please help me guys? Is there anyone who has got such problem?

Well the problem seems to be strange but I would like to ask you to check the manual for the dual-channel slots, as on single channel they will not run 1066.Dual channel is 1 & 2Also check the SPD tab in CPU-z of your memory, as a lot of 1066 DDR2 isn't 1066 at all but 800.The memory speed has nothing to do with the board, only the memory itself and the CPU, the BIOS only tells the CPU what the memory should do but that's it. I hope this would help you out.

I used the same memory with K9A2 Platinum, MSI and Gigabyte G45 790XT-770-UD3 2.0. I was not able to get away in 1066 at the time Corsair says in one of them, my CPU beeing revision C2. It s good to 800 Mhz, but in 1066 the times that need a lot more loose and the system is unstable even get Memtest errors then. Practically after some time, no matter what time you can go for Q1 tweak. You 5 2.0 to 2.1 V -6-6-18-26 although 800 MHz, if you work for offers similar performance to 1066. Additionally you can get more performance, rather than getting to the RAM 1066 by increasing the speed of NB over 2000, the motherboard could default. The allow you to go for 2300-2400, 2600 MHz beeing the goal, but never gave in K9A2 Platinum. And gain a BMI of NB 2000MHz to 2600Mhz is observable. This being overclocking.

Hey some same problem was faced by me and would like to share that experience I did these Bas 1:22.66 and change voltage 2.1,says that on the module is restarted fine, but goes back to 800Mhz instead of 1066 I have 2 x 2GB Corsair Dominator 1066 CM2X2048-8500C5D, XMS2-8500 2048MB 1066MHz - 5 5 5 15 - 2.1v - Version 1.1 2 x6 1055T Phenom 2.8 Ati 5770 1GB GDDR5 sapphire I have the latest BIOS update and all the drivers and running on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit everything works fine except the RAM used to stay in 1066 after a reboot? Corsair is the problem? What works 1066 MHz DDR2 RAM on a motherboard MSI K9A2 Platinum v1? Etc. I did not have $ $ $ $ for DDR 3 and table so I wanted to get the most out of this forum until I get more funds. MSI K9A2 says supports 1066MHz,

I think you got to get a new one ddr3 ram I haven’t heard this problem before dear no idea about it but I think this would be some problem with your hardware and you need to change it try your hardware in some other System and check out if it is working fine like check your ram in your friends PC and see if it works nicely and if that does then you just check up your motherboard if that is working fine by this you would be able to know who is the culprit for this and you can solve the problem by taking action according to it.

Hello dear friend I would like to suggest you that may be there is some power problem or some connection problem, I mean something would be loose and is not able to get in contact continuously so I think you need to check them out first and you can do this by removing all the Parts spate them carefully and then re assemble it and just check it out that is the problem still appearing, and if it is then you need to change the hardware and if not getting the problem then be happy you have solved your problem. Just try this out and hope the best that your problem gets solved.

Ok I would tell you to beware, RAM is the only thing you need for your computer to boot even insert a toothpick and Turn on the PC, if you hear any beeps, and especially a long beep after the stick is not working with your hardware. if you are looking for the clock speed of RAM, the RAM slots on the motherboard should be color coded, as in the red and green and one red and two green, if you want your RAM to run at the same speed, then the two DIMM slots in red must be the same type and speed, as the grooves green. Otherwise you will not be able to see. And getting a help by some of the professionals would be a best thing I suppose if you aren’t able to get the things properly.
