You might not be using the right drivers CD to install the audio drivers for your Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard. The original drivers CD which came along with Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard should be used to install the necessary audio drivers in your Windows XP Service Pack 2 running computer system. Insert the original CD in your CD / DVD-ROM and run the following in your computer. Usually, the CD will automatically launch and begin installing all necessary drivers for your mother. |

I recommend you visit the official website of Gigabyte and find the driver in particular you are looking for Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard. Search the official website and visit it. Once you have entered the site, click Drivers and Downloads link and search for the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard. in the search box. This lists all the drivers you need for your motherboard. Download and install the drivers on your system. |

You should go to the device manager and then scroll down and look for the audio device. You will find it to be having a yellow exclamation mark which indicates that the drivers are not installed in your system. So I will recommend you to uninstall the device form your system by right clicking the audio device and selecting Uninstall. Restart your computer. On restart, the system will automatically search for the changed settings and will search for the drivers. |

According to me there is some issue with the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard which you are using in your computer system and it needs some checking from a specialist. Contact any computer store in your nearby area and ask the specialist of the store to have a look in your Motherboard and the issues you are facing in your system. they will be able to show you the perfect solution to solve your query. |

Hey guys, I also faced this issue with my the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (rev 2) Motherboard. And luckily I found a work around for the same. I actually took help from my friend who is pretty good with computers. He suggested me to reinstall the Video drivers of my computer system and then try to install the audio drivers. Luckily the solution did the trick for me in solving my similar issue. So, I will also recommend you to do the same, as I strongly feel that it is worth trying. |
