Finally I have the opportunity to upgrade from a Dell Dimension Pentium 4 system, but a bit of a catch because I'm restricted to only a few dollars, I mean my budget is less the result fell out of my decision to go two sky-scraping processors. Well, I'm planning to go to any Athlon X2 II 245 or Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 processor. But I'm still confused select these. Please help me make the right decision. Thanks in advance.

I reflect you should obtain the Intel Core 2 Duo, as if what is good in requisites of system transformation. For the reason that the Intel Core 2 Duo E 6700 has the L2 cache speed of more than 4 MB per core. Compared with the AMD II X2 245 only speed L2 cache of 2 MB per core speed. This is quite twice the previous speed after AMD. So I think Intel will win the race in terms of processing of L2 cache.

If you are a maniac in the game, then I assume it is obligatory that the AMD processor, as it has very overclocking speed. Compared with the Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel has only 2.66 GHz and AMD Athlon processor but has the clock speed over 2.9 GHz. So in game terms refer to this speed is remarkably pleasant to run lofty eminence games on the computer. So I assume to buy the AMD II X2 245 for the operation of the game better.

As games are concerned at any time AMD is superior to Intel. So I imply you to get the right change and do what I want to be processed. Go for the AMD processor for the reason that they have a good graphical access and the process can change and necessary. Make do and see the implementation, so it's best for you whether in terms of achieving graphics or overclocking feature. I hope that it would certainly be a fairer one.

I recommend AMD in terms of play, but the problem with AMD is that it heats up very quickly and is not stable as well. Hence it is needed to make it transform, it is indispensable to make revolutionize for the enhanced. Intel also offers a graphic element very well, but is stable and not much more influential than AMD in terms of graphics. Intel does not heat up quickly. So go for Intel as device steadiness is more necessitate rather than high graphics.
