BSOD after replacing motherboard, need help please

So the network adapter on the motherboard in my father's tower stopped working, so we ordered a new motherboard to swap out. It's not an OEM replacement, but rather a Supermicro C2SBM-Q. The computer tower is a Gateway LX6810.....anyways I am pretty familiar with building computers so I swapped the motherboard out no problem, but now when I boot up the computer it BSOD before arriving to the log on screen. Anyone know what I can do to fix this and get his computer back online??

When you are changing the hardware parts in a computer or putting up new ones, then you will have to install a complete fresh operating system installation. Sometimes OS reinstallation is not required, but as you have said that you have swapped a complete whole new mainboard, then a reinstall of OS would be a good idea. By the way what are the error message you are getting in the Blue Screen?

It comes up with many numbers, the word STOP thrown in there, along with some colons and other symbols. I'll tinker with it tomorrow and write down the exact code. Thanks for the clarification bud, I was fearing that I would have to do a fresh install, but didn't want to haggle with backing up files, photos, etc to externals.
