For what purpose do we have MIO board in Alienware systems?

I wondered just why we have this forum for Alienware systems, for starters, since it seems very feasible. I've noticed a number of topics now including mine on the subject of the board of Mio and honestly I do not see what is installed on these systems to begin with. So far thermal management, now I've reconnected my whole box and given myself manual fan control through switches. Since I did not want to keep sharing with Dell in the future for the new MIO card if this happens again with the firmware update in the future

As you are able to perceive the MIO board have more than a few things connected to it. One is thermal, the additional being AlienFX, etc. My MIO board hdd_led still has the power, as a result the whole thing to do through hard drive, etc. is working indicators. Nevertheless, the chip that controls the thermal management is of brick. It just seems that the technology makes sense to implement these systems. The lights do not exist in the case, and the fans are not controlled through the chip is.

Disconnect the master I / S MIO card cable beam me back my head Alienware. The lights on the left and right do not light though. Still do not recognize why precisely that is, for the reason that if the head is turned Alienware at that moment surely it must be the lights on the side of the box, unless they go through different channels. I know that the use of its separate connectors, but I can see I'm assuming that it is possible to do with energy.

What exactly is stopping the MIO board to be predictable by the motherboard? If the firmware that bricks and build the hardware useless in the way I refuse to accept this, given the fact that the hardware is a means to an end when it comes to problems, there is always an alternative solution. Dell technicians will take the old board and it was just a shot after replacements has taken place or are sent back to the factory for repair?

In my opinion, is a Dell / Alienware to get a share of ownership in a system that otherwise can be fully upgradeable and future-ready. In what must be for the premium price they charge. In short form to establish a life expectancy of their machines, so you buy another and not just be able to improve in the future! I hope this will help you to understand your query. If you still want to know more about this the you can contact with the dell support I am sure they will guide you in the proper way thank you.

Alienware computers have for all time had the lights. It’s one of the belongings that make them exceptional. Dell used and expanded in the base technology that developed during XPS 6xx and 7xx day. Instead of with a number of dissimilar systems, they have calculated a hardware / software that do the whole thing at the moment, and more lately. Dell is extremely reticent regarding how the Center MIO-Board, AlienFX, Command the entire workings. However, I and others have discovered a little about it.

Considering everything that has to perform (computer / software control) would be less problematical than a full-MIO-board as a clarification. I do not think 5 dissimilar boards would be superior. In addition, keep in mind that the MIO-board comprise its individual CPU, and be able to control the device itself (at the similar time what the rest of the system is performing). The USB connection is simply essential to reprogram the parameters and the sensor readings change.
