Can you boot completely in safe mode? Can you get the loading screen by means of the blue bar that is moving across? Do you encompass Service pack 1 or else 2 installed in your computer? Did you install some unknown otherwise special software or else drivers newly? I am asking this because if you have done so then that can be the reason for the problem that you are facing and removing that from your computer might resolve the problem. So do that and let me know if it works for you. |

There might be some problem with the port that you are using to connect the hard drive and so you are facing the problem. If you want to ensure that then you can try to make use of some other available SATA port and if the issue is with the port then this time it will not create any issue for you. You can also try to use that drive in some other computer and see if that shows the same issue there as well. |

Have you downloaded any of the Microsoft drivers in your computer? If so then you can try to remove that from your computer and after that see it can recognize the drive. Other than this if the drive is not getting recognized by the BIOS then you can update the BIOS in your computer to see if that resolves the issue. In some of the cases like this, I have seen that the updating the BIOS resolve the problem and I wish that it will do the same for you. |

I would like to tell you that via chipset will not hold up SATAII hdd. But if you cautiously examine the HDD label then you will locate info regarding how to compose it to function through SATA controller. Verify the BIOS and confirm your booting to drive by means of your OS lying on it. I newly installed XP and new BIOS was changed. Once I place it to boot to exact drive, all the things was fine. |

You should look at the safe mode for the drive within Disk Management. Once you get there then you should be able to add to your system and the dynamics change if you want. Restart the system and that "should" ok. The unit has a type of bootload it is doing is running a Savedump.exe XP. If you still encompass this difficulty, you be able to send savedump support for reading. |
