    P45 neo2 + Q9400 with 4-pin and 12 volts

Hey guys, I am a newbie in the world of computer, and made a big mistake by assembling my system by myself. I know that I should have consulted an experienced guys or a person who has previously assembled system, but I did not but there is no point in crying over spilled milk. So know what I want is I want So while the 4pin is curved into the computer. It won’t even turn on, and when I remove the 4pin from the 8pin slot and click the start button, it works, but nothing on screen.

Ok , I will remember that next time I would surely remember that so I purchased the P45 NEO2 motherboard and attached to it Radeon gigabyte 5859 (OC) 1G graphic card. The power supply I am using is via is 500W COLORS. It with 4-pin 12V connector. The motherboard compulsory is 8-pin12V connector but I saw in a number of forums that you can fastener up the 4-pin connector to the 8-pin slot and it should work.

So what do you meant to say is that 4pin is connected the computer won't even turn on, and when you eradicate the 4pin from the 8pin slot and hit it off the start button, it works, but nothing on screen...right ?? Then it’s the problem of your power supply, connect it with a new power supply and then see the change. IF the problem still persists then this might be due to high graphics version card. Remove your graphic card and then try.
