    5000V Master2 Series (MS-9638 V3.2 series) taking time.

I got MSI 5000V Master2 Series (MS-9638 V3.2 series) series board. Along with this there are two Intel Xeon 5148LV (low voltage, TDP40watts) board. After this I have fixed it, which is having 510watt PSU. The thing I have got now has 6gig of FBDIMM, with 12 disks and 6 fans.
Now the problem is that when I start my system, continuous beeps are being heard, which are carried on for around a minute, after which it boots up and I get the BIOS.
So have any one got any idea why is the system this much slow? What is the exact problem ? Please help me out.

Hey buddy I think your system is completely fine. As you are using lots and lots of things in it that’s the purpose why it is slow. According to me it is taking a minute to charge up before it starts. But once it get booted it is working fine na? Then there is no need to worry.
I have seen this before also it takes up some time to get charged up before it starts. So it’s a very common issue.

Hey I think I am in good mood today to solve your doubt. He he was just joking. Hey let me tell you that I have yesterday booted 13 disk that to fully loaded system and it just happed it normally as it happens without taking much time. Only two small beeps were heard.
In your case I just think that 510watt is just not enough to load it fast, so try doing it adding more watts to it.

Hey you seems to be much knowledge full so I will tell you what exactly might be the scenario going on with your board. I think that your raid card power is doing a spread out spin up. I mean to say that it might be starting the drives in a queue format one after the other. And every beep stands for each and every driver.
This happens because the 510WATT is not enough to charge up the things so the process is delayed.

Hey I had the similar configuration as you are having. I also had the same problem as you are facing so I don’t think anyone will post the comments to this question anymore because I have got the most correct answer for it.
The problem is in the phoenix BIOS. The continuous beeps you are hearing are due to these bios only. And this is because of the wrong power supply. Try to change your PSU and change it to that which is able to deliver 52Amps on the 12volt rail.
