Dell OptiPlex 320 compatible with Core 2 Duo e6700 with 1066 MHz FSB

Hello friend, last one month I have work on the Dell OptiPlex 320 desktop. But last week I want some changes of the speed of the processor. I think if the speed of the processor is high then it would be great. Then I try to upgrade the CPU of the system by using a Core2Duo e6700 with 1066 MHz FSB capacity. Then I do this and it works. I don’t believe that it happens in the OptiPlex 320 desktop. Anyone having the same experience related to the OptiPlex 320 desktop then shares it.

Yep, this is happens in this OptiPlex 320 desktop system. I also done this task in the last week and still there is no issues present in the system. I don’t know how this is happen. Basically the OptiPlex 320 desktop is to be contains the Intel Pentium D 925 Processor and its specifications is 4M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 800 MHz FSB etc. the newly installed Core 2 Duo e6700 processor contains the specifications contains 1066 MHz FSB. This is happen because the upgraded BIOS of the system.

I also done this task on my system and there is nothing issues present in that system. It appears in this system because BIOS reports the CPU type and speed accurately. For doing this kind of the motherboard and the processor needs the upgraded version of the BIOS. The BIOS has to be providing the communications facility between the processor and the motherboard. Then I recommended you to if you want to upgrade your system CPU then before doing this task, just upgrade the BIOS. This will really helpful to do the task.

I really want such kind of task or we called as solutions that help to increase the speed of the processor. I appreciates your post. This will be helping me to upgrade the system. Thanks.

This is really interesting and people mostly like this. If this is to be really happen then we need to check the improvement the system in this e6700 processor. This will really good for improving the speed and the performance of the system. I think there is small difficulty in this task. When we insert this new e6700 processor then we always need to upgrade the BIOS setting as well as download the latest chipset drivers from ATI directly. Then the real performance of this new processor is throwing in the system.

I apologize this work but should this really possible that jump from the Intel Pentium D processor to directly on the core 2 Duo. If this is happen in the system then this is to be really good for upgrading the performance of the system. This will be helpful to run the high configurations applications on this desktop. It will be help to increase the speed of the processor and then probably the speed of the system also increased.
