very 1st boot

ok..curious cause ive never done. i would like and know i can build a computer. forget cost my question is:

when we click power button ON...what comes up? blue screen? i mean we need to turn on 1st to get OS disk in. then i assume we have to shut off then turn on again....correct?

im just wondering whats 1st screen AFTER everything put together....?

another question is....BIOS is already loaded on MB correct?

If you are booting a computer without any operating system installed on the hard drive then you will just come up to a black screen where either "No operating System found" message will appear or some other message. So, you will need to put the OS disk in the cd/dvd drive and then have to boot from cd/dvd and install the OS.
