Has anybody connected a Corsair H70 CPU cooler to the Asus Sabertooth X58. The motivation I ask is with the intention of I have comprised connected the 3 pin pump connector to the 4 pin CPU fan connector on the motherboard & I am anticipating it's giving 100% (12volts). Is there several ways to locate out & create certain with the intention of its receiving 100% as I be familiar with there is a programmed (Fan Xpert, I imagine) to facilitate automatically reduces/increases the fan speed accordingly, which I do not desire to happen. In addition be able to anyone observe several tribulations in connecting the 3 pin pump connector on the CPU cooler to the 4pin connector on the motherboard.

I have excavation associated to an EVGA X58 so this is a relevant query, if it’s not receiving the whole 12volts it might give explanation why my temps are so high. If no one else placement through an respond tomorrow morning I determine to connect it straightforwardly to my PSU and I determine to observe if temps go down if they do then most of them be familiar with it was not provided that the full 12 volts if it does not then I would not be capable to draw a solid conclusion. Put out of action the fan control in the BIOS and it determine to give the full 12v to the fan. On the other hand, if you are concerned, you be able to acquire an adapter and attach the pump unswervingly to the PSU. Moreover determine to work just extremely well assuming your MOBO is providing the full 12v.

You have to acquire the seating/contact on the CPU spot on or you determine to observe merely average cooling temps, other than acquire it right & they are far additional effective than several air cooler apart commencing from extremely expensive 1's of course. I have comprised my radiator, along through 1 fan, on the outside of my case, the additional fan on the inside, through the entire the diminutive vent holes on the rear of the case cut out to generate a single, large 12cm x 12cm hole through slots cut out for the pipes, through the fans pulling in cool air commencing from the back, into the case & immediately out of the top utilizing a 14cm exhaust fan.

Re: I had connected Corsair h70 to Asus Sabertooth x58

I have not had several tribulations through it, and then I switched commencing from the intel stock fan to the H70. I had associated the cpu pin to the CPU_FAN header. I would acquire the cpu fan error and the pump was not working. I had position the cpu pin in the NB_FAN header and the pumps starter, on the other hand I still acquire the cpu fan error and I encompass to press f1 each time I start the system, which is annoying. Any way to solve this predicament, several help would be appreciated.

There are 2 connectors on the H70 one for the pump the additional for the fans. The pump be able to be associated to several header other than it be supposed to not be the CPU-Fan header as to facilitate is what the fans be supposed to be connected to. Preferably the pump be supposed to be unswervingly associated to the PSU so it runs at full speed (1400 rpm) the entire the time. If you have comprised and nothing connected to the CPU_Fan you determine to obtain an error message. You have to set the CPU fan header to pay no attention to in the bios. That way you keep away from the error message. In addition if you set it to pay no attention to then I would avoid connecting anything to it.

You have to encompassed and set the CPU fan header to pay no attention to in the bios. That way you keep away commencing from the error message. In addition if you position it to ignore then I would keep away from connecting no matter which to it. What would you similar to your temps to be and why. What creates you imagine they are high. I take for granted you are talking regarding degrees ambient temp F and CPU temp degrees C, if not you encompass an amazing system be a superior idea to just utilize F or C to give us a possibility to help superior! Search this discussion for comparable system temps, on the surface they are extremely superior, you determine to never cool below ambient temp unless you utilize some commencing form of refrigeration.
