Intel 2600K or amd PHENOM II X6 1100T

Looking for a new team in the current budget with the Q6600. Well, I am very impressed with the power of raw 2600K, but again my friends are saying to get the 1100T X6 for 6 cores and other materials. They are even saying that if you get a good overclock with the 1100t X6 will then be near or equal to 980X is it true? Um not sure. Again had that problem recently 2600K chipset. So if I get the 2600K with the desire to be the best overclocking motherboard for it? And if I get the 1100T to be the best overclocking board for it. Your friends are lying; the 1100t does not approach the 980X in anything. The 2600K is a much better value for money. You get low power consumption, less heat, and GHz in the air almost certainly 4.6. And do not worry; the problem is with the P67 chipset itself, not the CPU. As for overclocking good p67 boards?
