    How to set 1600 timings on MSI 790FX-GD70

    Hey guys, I have a trouble regarding the MSI motherboard. I hope I will get better solution from this forum. I have recently bought a new computer for my personal use. It include MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard, 4 GB Kingston RAM I have 2 RAM of 2GB, 500GB HDD and Dual core processor. I want to achieve 1600 timing on my RAM by using MSI 790FX-GD70. So, Anyone here who can help me. You would be appreciated.

    To set the timing first restart your system, then press Delete button to go bois setting. Once you get the blue screen go to memory menu. In this menu select Cell menu. This is the menu where you can set the timing for you memory. Then select Advance dram option in that. Since you are using two Ram so you have set the timing twice. So scroll down to do same setting for the second RAM. In this section you can do changes to set the timing.

    Hello friend, first I would like to thank you for giving me some idea to set the time for your memory. I have followed the instruction said by you. I am now able to rich to the window to set the timing but there are many thing to do I am getting which option should I change in advance dram to set the timing of memory. So I request you to give me step by step way to do all these setting. Thanks in advance.

    Hello friend you need to select advance DRAM configuration in cell menu first here you get the setting for your memory. In this, select DRAM Timing Mode to dual. By default memory timing is 2T make 1T it is faster than 2T. Make physical voltage to auto. Enable spread spectrum. Then save the user configuration setting then click on Ok button. Now you have done with it.

    Hello friend, I would like to thank you for giving the solution, Now I am able to do the set the memory timing. My Computer is running faster than previous. I want to know one thing that if I use one RAM instead of two then I have to do these setting for twice as I did in this case. If any idea please post on nest post friend. I would like to thanks once again.
