    unsure New RAM for a ACPI x86 based pc

    hello
    i am looking to improve my pc for gaming (shogun 2 out in a couple days)
    i have a ACPI x86 based pc and am looking to buy a new RAM about 6gb+
    i have no idea which to buy or which will actually work on my motherboard...
    some moron friendly advice on what to do would be very much appreciated

    Adding ram to play the game that you have described isnt going to prosper for you. You need to tell us what is your full computer specifications and for that download a software called System Spec that will give you a complete specification and system information of your PC. This includes hardware, software and settings.

    okay,
    i have
    graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 240
    processor: intel quad core Q6600 2.40 GHz
    RAM: 3gb, not sure about anything else (tech noob) could not figure it out...
    32 bit

    basicly, the HP m9070.uk nothing changed apart from the graphics card.

    Alright, so here is the link for the specifications for your system. And according to that you have a nvidia geforce 8500 gt video card which is a PCI-E based card. And i dont think you require a upgrade of ram's because your pc is sufficient enough to play shogun 2 game.
