Hello, a CMOS CLEAR on the motherboard could your (each) free BIOS of old rubbish. An experiment it is worth it. If you do not have the manual, the jumper has 3 times the label "CLR CMOS" or "CLRCMOS" or "CLR CMOS" or something on the motherboard. In any event clearly marked as such and to find. How is the jumper on your motherboard now, I do not know does not matter, it will be default to normal operation. For setting, there are not many ways to be exact, only one. Can not go wrong. Do not be surprised that you are in the clear state the computer can not boot up. Just switch on the computer just to give him a couple of CLEAR-second to him then back off. Set the CLR CMOS jumper back to default and run on the computer. Unfortunately, repaired a CLR CMOS is no hardware error. But the self-repairing motherboard would be constantly and mostly only concerned with themselves. Then we would find MS Windows but still part of that do it. |

It is possible that you have damaged the chip from the MB to assemble the PC, when you put on the heat sink for the Boot up (that may not work out so well, If the temperatures are not ok), If the problem occurs only recently entered. If relevant: You may have problems from the start with the IDE connector on the MB because it would get but because of the booting does not guarantee all S-ATA drives are connected. |

Well, if you have the feeling that not even start the bios, is due to null power supply. Tip1 : All Power cable to the motherboard separately, and try again. Tip2 : Bios battery change. Tip3 : switch power supply. (If the first time check with your colleagues on any who would have to rent it. Power, shall not be less than the present term. More likely.) Tip4 : turn right after the Dess PC, press the button and hold F8. Tip5 : Record times alternately 2 memory modules from the PC. (Do not touch the contacts because of static charge). Any order, was produced sporadically. |

AC does not come from the ram. if so, you'd be something on the screen, either nothing would start (not even the fan). I had this problem one day and it was my motherboard that was involved. See if you do not capacitor (large cylindrical component) if it is not swollen or if there is not a liquid brown / brown top. Otherwise, try disconnecting as much stuff (hard disk, floppy and cd). removed the cards that are not (except video of course). If you have multiple RAM chips, removes a different for each test. Just be a memory location in question. After that ... I know what you propose. against you by not telling us if AC did this to you one day at a startup or if you had done something before? |
