Unlock Athlon X2 7750 BE to Phenom AC FX 7750

As the thread is titled , it looks as if is not only the Phenom II 7xx and 8xx with the concealed cores and cache. To me it appears as if AMD have found a technique to obtain rid of the Phenoms which no one is purchasing it . Anybody else with a 7750+ BE able to verify this? I am not it certain but please give me some valuable tips on this , as I am confused after getting a mixed reviews from different people , so I very much rely on this forum for the exact opinion.

All we require to observe are some real benches and batch numbers so we can identify if we have a winner or these things are just as wipes ... Damn the 7750 is a great pact for budget systems as it is, if successfully unlocked to a quadcore that would be grand think , I am too much excited and cannot wait much and hold my breath though. Still trying to discover benches and constancy tests for kuma with the 2 additional cores enabled. If this tests out we could have our primary quad core for under $100

I do not think that it is in Not interesting at all. This chip is a gaming chip, if you turn it into a quadcore it will just be a sluggish chip , very hot, old quadcore using 65nm manufacture technology. The new Phenom II is based on 45nm manufacture knowledge and thus will employ a smaller amount power when comparing per MHz. In other words, you can unlock this CPU and obtain an old quadcore, but its well again to have only 2 (or even 1) core and focus on clockspeed in its place, which is most significant to games and other single threaded apps.

I would rather opt for an old quad core than an old dual core. And the old B2 Phenom's like the 9600BE and 9500 have been below $100 for a few time now, other Phenom products such as the Phenom 9850 and 9950 have been going on trade lately for a few good prices too, just a few weeks ago I obtained a 9850 for $129. Sure it's the old Phenom, but it fits my requirements and saved me $50 at the time from getting the inexpensive obtainable Phenom II X4.

Well … keep in mind that there might well be a cause that AMD disabled a particular core. While these new system boards can unlock the concealed cores, there’s no assurance that things will work out correct. While enthusiasts account good achievement with core unlocking, look at it as a free bonus, rather than as a privilege. Keep in mind too, that as AMD locked these cores away in the first place, that you can’t look forward to any support if things go incorrect.Still, these boards provide enthusiasts the possibility to fiddle about, which is much of the entertaining!
