    Amd 6000 vs athlon 7750

It was my birthday just few days back and it happened that I was gifted two cpu’s. One is by the family and the other one by the friends. So I got two cpu’s this birthday and I am very happy about it. Well I am pretty confused about which one to select for me. Well let me tell you the cpu configuration. One is the AMD Athlon X2 6000+ Dual-Core Processor - 3.10 GHz,1MB L2 Cache,Socket AM2,89W,65 nm while the other one is the AMD Athlon X2 7750 Black Edition Dual-Core Processor - 2.70 GHz, 3MB Cache, Socket AM2+, 95W, 65 nm. I know both are very good processors but still I want your views on this. So anyone of you having any knowledge about which one would be better than do let me know about it.

Well according to me both are good processors and generate a tremendous amount of processor power. So I think both will be good for you. I think both generate a descent amount of power while in the stock i.e around 4GHz. While talking about the overclocking if we compare both of them then I think AMD Athlon X2 7750 does score very well and it leaves behind its counterpart AMD Athlon X2 6000+ Dual-Core Processor. So if you are thinking about the overclocking then I would surely advice you to go with the amd athlon processor. So here is my opinion and its now upon you with which processor you would like to go.

According to me you must see both the processors and look out for some more good processor like AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz. I think it is very good processor and let me tell you the various features that are there in the processor. It has upto 16.0GB/s of bandwidth. It has got a unique CoolCore Technology to minimize heat while keeping power. It is a triple core processor with each processor having the capacity of 2.8 GHz. I think it is in a very good processor and it is in a good demand these days. So do have a look at this particular processor and I am quite sure you will like it.

My vote goes to the AMD Athlon X2 7750 simply because it scores really well in the gaming department as well. So it is a good processor according to me. Well many people speak about the working of the games is quite good in the 4 core processors then the dual core processors. According to me there is no much difference here. Well you can get the same performance in the dual core as well. The 7750 is a dual core phenom and I think you will be happy with its performance. Also one more thing that I would like to add here about the Athlon X2 7750 is that it can overclock easily. So the performance will be much higher in it.

Both are new processors and I have checked all the statistics about the performance of the processor in the internet which made me think that both are pretty close and the performance that they give in the stock state is quite good and hence I will say that you can settle with both of them. As such I have no complains about both the processors. So that’s why I am asking you to better keep both of them. Well the Athlon X2 7750 is slight better in the overclocking speed. Otherwise it is all the same. So my vote goes for them. I hope you have liked the suggestions.

Re: Amd 6000 vs athlon 7750

I think AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz is a pretty cool processor for gaming and I just simply love it. If it is for amd then I would opt for AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz only. Otherwise I would go with any of the core i5 processors. Which I think they come pretty close to these processors. Well if you do not have any other option and you have to select between the two processors that you have given above. I would advice you to select the Athlon X2 7750 processor for its overclocking capacity. So do have a look at all of the suggestions that I have given here and accordingly decide with which you want to go.

Hey thanks everyone. Well I have finally decided the configuration for my processors and I think it is the best one that I have selected here, well let me specify you some details on the configuration they are Sapphire 790GX Chipset, OCZ High Power Gamers PSU, AMD Athlon X2 7750 processor, Crossfire Hybrid CF Motherboard with additional cooling fans to cool down the system. as of now I think this is the best configuration that I have got and being a hardcore gamer I will look whether this configuration will be good enough for me.
