Can the cpu in an hp laptop be replaced

I have an HP laptop, model 6735s with SI-42 CPU (Sempron). Can I get the CPU with a 2.2GHz Turion ML-40 Turion 64 X2 TL-52 or AMD Athlon QL 60 substitute? Where can I find specs for Motherboard / Socket, etc? is it possible to change the CPU of an HP laptop and please suggest me a good Processor which is compatible with my HP Laptop. I'm trying to upgrade the cpu of my laptop Hp Dv 6695. I have already upgraded from 2 GB of RAM bringing it to 4 GB DDR2 667 MHz DDR2 800 Mhz.Now is the time that I upgrade the CPU of the T7700 2.4 Ghz 4 MB L2 with 65-nm technology a Penryn T9500 2.6 GHz with 6 MB of L2.

To do this I already upgraded the BIOS to a version that allows you to use these 45-nm Penryn CPU. The No. 1 issue is whether the T9500 Penryn is the maximum that can be recognized by my motherboard, or if I can also use the model Intel Core 2 Extreme X9000, which would be the successor to the T9500. I called the support number that was on the internet. The notebook in question was the Compaq Presario 701E mounted on a duron 950, while others rode the 700 model presario athlon. Depends if they have the same socket. if a motherboard supports sch x say, all socket 754 processors, then we can put all the AMD 754, I know if it supports socket 478, intel 478 all. To see your processor can not do other than try the manual removal-replacement even though it is but a memory on the processor could create a problem for you. So simply call the company guy and ask him to arrange the same for you.
