Ever since the first Core i7 series processors for open calls were announced. Although Intel was the Extreme Edition models offer even more appropriate with, but these were in the price range of a 10 year old small car, which very few customers were willing to pay. On the Socket 1156 Core last year are finally better models of the Core i5 650K and 875K appeared i7. These were now more affordable and also had an open multiplier. This "K" models can now be in the new series offer straight away. The Core i7 i5 2500 and 2600 are now open as a K-models with multi-available and are already available. The i7-950 will be a good option probably a little longer at reduced prices by mail order. Nevertheless, he will have against the i7-920 heavy, which is already found for under 400$ and simply too good to overclock can. when Intel introduced the Nehalem architecture, a lot has happened. At that time, practically, only expensive high-end motherboards were getting, and the DDR3 Triple Channel Kits with a voltage of 1.65 volts were still brand new. Go for it.

Meanwhile, there are a number of boards that less than 200 $ cost. Six GB DDR3-1333 memory than 3-Module Kit from $ 80 to find. And even the small price of Core i7-920 has fallen to below 250 $. All this naturally only interested in those who want to minimum cost will come to a Core i7 platform. The Core i7-975 Extreme and the Core i7-950 does not fall into this category. Specifically, the i7-975 is aimed at the enthusiast, the guaranteed 3.3 GHz and expected more from its processor, a D0 stepping is and without batting an eyelash spend 900 euros for it - for which he yesterday the i7-965 had received Extreme 3.2 GHz.

Besides the actual CPU is the new graphic unit is a highlight of the processor. The i7-2600K is the Intel HD 3000 Graphics twelve o'clock shader processors to use. A separate memory is missing, it has the graphics core of the ring system direct access to the. I had this graphic card from Sandy Bridge , For example, while in the online role-playing game World of Warcraft at a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and medium detail in graphics with a pleasant liquid running 30 frames per second could play. No comparison to a separate graphics card, but by miles better than any other integrated graphics units which are currently on the market.
