A long beep point to the system detected memory failure. The BIOS check the first 64KB of memory as well as produce a beep if it detects an error. Over and over again, the user failed to correctly install the memory into the gigabyte GA-D525TUD motherboard memory bay, avoiding the BIOS from noticing the RAM. Though, a bad memory chip or defective motherboard be able to too create this similar beep code.

The system produces one long beep, and then two short beeps, following detecting a video-related error. The BIOS cannot initialize the video controller or read the video memory, preventing it from showing images or text. Since with the memory, the customer may have unsuccessful to install the graphics card to the graphics slot. A faulty video adapter or PCI Express x16 slot is able to as well create this error. The Gigabyte GA-D525TUD as well produces one long beep, as well as three short beeps, to inform the user of a video error.
