Gigabyte X58A-UD7 and Gigabyte X58A-UD9 memory support

I was thinking that this Gigabyte X58A-UD7 and Gigabyte X58A-UD9 that is supporting the memory block with the module P/N KHX2000C9D3T1K3/3GX will be able to support the module for memory of P/N KHX2000C9D3T1K3/12GX or not. I am asking this thing because as far as I know there is not much difference between these two things. Only one difference that came to my observation is the size of memory blocks. Hence I need to know; what is the difference between these two, whether it is related to functionality or the memory.

The memory thing that you have given is of Kingston and as far as I know they are not providing any list of compatibility. I mean to say they are not providing the detail for the issue related to compatibility. Now this kind of behavior can only lead to one kind of solution or observation. One is that these two memories are compatible will all the mother board or this type of memory is not having any kind of compatibility issues. In any case you will not face problem with the memory that you are planning to use.

Re: Gigabyte X58A-UD7 and Gigabyte X58A-UD9 memory support

I am having the idea that both the memories are supporting the KHX2000C9D3T1K3/3GX because this thing is mentioned in the memory list for both the mother boards that I am going to use. That is not my point of concern, the point of concern is that, if I am increasing the memory or double the memory size then thing going to be helpful or not, or it will support or not. If you can suggest anything related to that then it will be really appreciated. Anyways thanks for the suggestion that you have given. I will be waiting for more relevant reply.

Now I have got the problem that you are facing, to be true according to your system configuration, there is no reason that your mother board will not support, if you are going to double the memory of your system. In short it should be compatible, but I have not tested this thing practically hence my reply is only based on assumption. If you want to find the exact answer for your doubt then the best place for clearing your doubt will be the manufacture site. There you can check your product with the mother board you are having.

Re: Gigabyte X58A-UD7 and Gigabyte X58A-UD9 memory support

Here's my hypothesis: Both kit and OCZ3P1600LV12GK OCZ3RPR1600LV12GK "have the same chip 800 MHz 7-7-7-24, but not the same type of cooling. The kit "Reaper" has a better cooling. Then the kit OCZ3RPR1600C7LV12GKl "800 MHz chip has 7 to 8 -7 to 24. If you are looking for performance, the three are very good kit, I will counsel the third kit 7-8-7-24. (Even if the 7-7-7-24 is better a few ns, the price is not justifiable) Be careful with "Reaper", the cooling system rises up. I am sure this would have clear you doubt.

More widely (but I think that is the case with virtually 100% of manufacturers) cannot see the card compatibility with memory or "standard", not the best / most recent. What about these 3 models OCZ? OCZ3P1600LV12GK; OCZ3RPR1600LV12GK and OCZ3RPR1600C7LV12GK. Were consistent and appropriate solutions represented, or if I fell back on the G. Skill F3-12800CL7T-12GBTDD. If you can provide any suggestion related to this then do let me know. I will be waiting for the related reply, or I should say that any related solution will be highly appreciated.
