    GIGABYTE GA-790FXTA-UD5 vs MSI 790FX GD70

I am building my first PC and after doing a rigorous research , I decided all the components except the motherboard , I had opted for MSI 790FX GD70 but later on thought a bit and saw GIGABYTE GA-790FXTA-UD5 motherboard I do not have much idea about system building and am looking forward to learn overclocking and with this system build I'd like to learn more about it. So I have typed my question in order to ask that which of the two motherboard is worth buying , please share your valuable ideas on this.

Well if you ask me I will go with the msi, it's quite a bit cheaper, it also has additional PCIE, quad crossfire at x8 or dual x16, quicker memory( gigabyte up to 1866mhz, msi up to 2133mhz) and awesome overclocking features . I do not deny that the Gigabyte does not have better features, but I will always prefer MSI if it comes to performance.

If you talk about the sata3, let me inform you that not yet the fastest of solid state hard drives has the capability to reach the full strength of sata2, they are in fact far away from this feature but use the similar USB 2.0. It is similar to the video cards, you can utilize a 5870 on a PCIE 1.1 , it is been in the market since 2004 and get 1-2% difference from PCIE 2.0, so you can in fact run the newest graphics on an old PCIE 1.1 system board with no slow down in the performance

On specifications and features basis , the msi motherboard would be good choice because it has more numbers of pcie slots and is capable of supporting up to quad crossfire. But on the basis of physical appearance, gigabyte motherboard seems more better, but I think you should not go on the physical appearance , you will be much more concerned about the performance.
