Compare AMD Phenom II X6 1090T and INTEL I5 750

I want to have your opinion before investing money for any of this processor. See I have to invest a lot of money for any of this processor hence I want to have the best processor between these two. I know that AMD processors are good for gaming and Intel processors are good in performance, I want to know if want to enjoy the experience of gaming and also do my work in a better way than which processor is best among these two. If anyone has experience with both the processors or any of the processor and want to share their experience then please do so. I will be waiting for the reply.

The Phenom II X6 1090T is the first consumer processor from AMD to ship 6-core computing. If this represents a great leap in performance, this is not the only novelty in this series. Indeed, the manufacturer also benefits to introduce turbo Core. I will also like to remind you that you will find all our measures in the face-to-face processors. For example be possible to compare the Phenom II X6 1090T to an Intel Core i7 860. When not requested, the chip does not consume much more than the Phenom X4 965. This achieves 137 W for the entire machine, where the 965 is 130 W. Side of Intel, the Core i7 980X, also type hexacore, displays 141 W. A nice surprise also in full operation where energy consumption is also the same level: 223 W for all of our machine, the same result as the X4 965. The 980X i7 up for its share to 255 W. The note in this section is severe (the values are high), but still appreciates the lack of increase in consumption relative to models with four cores.

Re: Compare AMD Phenom II X6 1090T and INTEL I5 750

By analyzing the results of performance tests, one thing is clear: the Phenom II X6 1090T can compete in any way with the Intel Core i7 980X. This is really faster even untouchable. In contrast, the addition of two additional cores allow AMD to catch up on the series of Core i7 800. If we rely on our overall average, the 1090T is more or less at a Core i7 860 and slightly below an 870. The performance differences between these processors vary depending on applications. AMD processor is doing so well in video encoding HD (x264) where he directed our test operation in 3 min 32 sec. The same operation is performed in 3 min 58 sec on the i7 870.

Re: Compare AMD Phenom II X6 1090T and INTEL I5 750

On average, the X6 is about 11% faster than its predecessor, the Phenom X4 965. This dernuer has 4 hearts, but their frequency is limited to 3.4 GHz (no Turbo Core). Games tie benefit of quad-core processors is unfortunately quite rare today. The presence of six units of executions is not a real advantage in this type of use. The result is quite logical: the 1090T is at the Phenom X4 965 (quad-core, 3.4 GHz), with a slight lead of the latter on World in Conflict (50 fps average cons of 47). The hexacore AMD is comfortable in games, even if all cores are not utilized. Now you can easily decide that AMD is better.
