N950 Quad Core vs. Core i5 460m

I was just speculating if this laptop with the AMD Phenom ii N950 2.1 GHz quad core is improved for playing left 4 dead 2 and Dark Messiah, after that playing them on a Core i5 460m 2.63 GHz turbo boosted with overexcited threading. They equally, except the processor, contain the similar hardware. Both contain the ATI Mobility 5650 2 GB GDDR3 RAM. Both contain 4 GB of DDR3 RAM 1076 mhz. And one final thing they i5 has L3 cache and the N950 does not. Will that result anything also?

I think Native quad above HT quads for everything which utilizes it. The majority of games, including the ones you mentioned I think don’t even utilize 4 cores. It is hard to evaluate cross platform Intel v AMD to the extent that the cache foes as they are handled in a different way. So this is my suggestion about your issue.

There are a few dissimilarities in the CPU's which you can think about also like the i5 has a superior clock speed but is a dual core with HT and the games I encompass are quad core accomplished games I believe so is there any FPS dissimilarity? How do you utter the 5650 2 GB GDDR3 dx11 will run these games with the quad core?

If the games can utilize three or extra cores, the quad core will almost surely win. If the games can just utilize 1 to 2 cores, the i5 will win. For myself, I would get the quad. Don't truly know, but it is not accurately a screaming quick GPU. I am certain it will run 'em if you play with the settings, but I uncertainty you will be able to play at maximum settings.
