    Temperature of Intel i7 930

Anyone have any idea, what are suitable temperatures for an i7 930? At present I inactive at around 45C and if I go all out on major, using many things and most of my memory and so on I can get to 100 degree Centigrade or higher than. Even just utilizing a few things my temperature gets stressed up to the middle to high 80s. Is this standard temperature? I have got an Antec Kuhler Box. I have been inquiring with many sites, here I am completely fresher and I just got up to what I feel is my maximum constant speed of 3.99 GHZ. Multiplier = 22. VTT = 1.580. Any lesser VTT and I feel I obtain Blue Screen of Death. If you require any more info about my system then please tell me. Should I attempt to lesser my clock and VTT or is this temperature fine? I have got CUP-Z but I am not pretty certain how to read the whole thing. So please here somebody provide me a few help!

Re: Temperature of Intel i7 930

The maximum temperature on i7 is 100 degree centigrade but most like to keep it fewer than 90 or in huge terminators case 80. I have run my system at high 90's without collide or crashes. 1.495v is way too much for that CPU particularly for 3.9 GHZ on space. I think you should be well with 1.3v. Begin messing with your additional settings like QPI and so on. There was an excellent guide someplace around here on i7 basics. I will try to find it for you.

Re: Temperature of Intel i7 930

One user advice me to change the QPI link speed but QPI link speed is not entered manually it is resulting from the QPI clock ratio times the BLCK, which is place on auto, which so far = x46, the lowly it can obtain. Uncore frequency works the similar method. Uncore ratio x BCLK, and the Uncore ratio is at present also place to auto. On the other hand, the Uncore ratio can be lesser and I might attempt that since my RAM ratio is just x5. The present Uncore x30 might be a bit too much. Uncore should be 3x RAM ratio?
