    How to buy the correct compatible ram..?

    Guys i bought 1 gb ram from my friend(i already have 1 gb ram) after inserting that new stick my computer won't boot...after removing that new ram..once again my system works fine..

    so what i need to consider for new RAM(any motherboard number or frequency or what the thing need to check before buying RAM)

    For this you have to check your motherboards specification. Install CPUZ in your system. It will show you the exact motherboard model of your system. Then search online for the detailed specification of the motherboard. You can also look for the specification the ram that you are using right now. Or else you also post the both the information here so that you can get a more detail solution on this.
