    Upgrading Phenom X4 970 on GA-MA78G-DS3H

My current system consists of the motherboard: GA-MA78G-DS3H (Rev.1.0) (F9E BIOS) and an Athlon 64 X2 6000 + (125W) CPU, since I currently the idea is to upgrade the CPU pushes the question to which I run the following CPUs in the future! according to CPU support list is indeed an upgrade to a Phenom X4 965 (125W/140W) and the Phenom II X6 1055T (95W) nothing in the way. I want to ask two queries :
    1. would this board and a Phenom X4 970 according to my run of dates to the X4 965 only has a higher stroke frequency but otherwise identical to the X4 965, and brings me a performance benefit?
    2. what benefit would provide a Phenom X4 X6 1055T compared to the 965 or (if running) the X4 970?

Also which CPU would you advise me? I am having configuration:
    GA-MA78G-DS3H (rev. 1.0)
    Athlon 64 X2 6000 + (125W)
    ADATA 8GB DDR2-1066
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX460 OC
    Intel ® X25-M G2 80 GB
    2x Samsung F1 500GB S550
    Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
A small question about my Gigabyte GeForce GTX460 OC (Bios F2), change with a BIOS update to F3 something about the fan control, because my GTX40 but a little too loud, or what are the advantages of a BIOS update to F3? Otherwise I have no problem with that is the Video Card. Thank you very much in advance and best regards!

    Re: Upgrading Phenom X4 970 on GA-MA78G-DS3H

According to me, could run the 970, but does not. Usually it works pretty well for AMD. The CPU will run as an "unknown CPU", but with proper tact and proper tension. However, I had "generally" written ... the 955 was not the case. Since the CPU was running without proper support from the BIOS only at 800MHz. The difference 970-965 can forget. The notice not one. If you rigged and the price is right, then take with it, but otherwise, the multi-stroke negligible. Whether the 1055T is better depends on your applications. Thanks Turbo X6 but it is certainly also in the absence of limited multithreading is an alternative.

Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 - Turbo mode disable possible?

It is possible to the Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 (2.0) is possible with the latest BIOS to disable the turbo mode for example, the AMD X6 1055T, so you get here is no problem in OC? I know that it is slightly Offtopic, but does anyone happen if the memory controller of the X6 continues to be the problem, 4 DDR2 memory modules operate at 1066MHz? Such was the example I remember the 940 X4. Also I am hoping that some members form your side must be having solutions (information) for this.

Re: Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 - Turbo mode disable possible?

Since stepping C3 (since there's some 955BE) 1333 is officially allowed at 4 bars. The Turbo mode can be deactivated, is at least in my DQ6, so should, for your much newer board also work. 1333 is on DDR3. With DDR2 I am not sure whether 1066 is officially on all 4th I have it in me to be honest not even try, because the computer runs at 800MHz with default voltage. This is important to me than 1066 over 2V. Because the advantage is usually not noticed before.
