Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 with core i3 processor

My old motherboard died. My uncle gift me Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 motherboard. I have a core i3 processor in my computer system. I don't have any idea about this Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 motherboard. I want to know the more about this Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 motherboard so i can easily configure my computer with proper configuration. So please help me as soon as possible to solve my problem.

Yes it work on Core i3 cpu, only thing I will suggest that you read the specification in detail. There other more new features in the mothebroard that you can also try out. I have the cpu specification of the motherboard. It support for an Intel Core i7 series processor/Intel Core i5 series processor in the LGA1156 package.
