I am building my first customized computer and I will use this for gaming, watching videos and listening to music. I have decided all other parts but I am confused for motherboard, have two choices (Rampage III Extreme or GA-X58A-UD9) and cannot decide which one to buy. I have decided my other parts and they are mentioned below:
    Case: Haf 932
    Video Card: eVGA GTX 470
CPU: AMD athalon X3 2.6 GHz
    Memory:8GB
    Motherboard: still deciding
If you are having any idea about these boards so please let me know. Thank you in advance. Your suggestion would be appreciated.

The GA-X58A-UD9 is an actually good board, the nF200 bridge is nice if you wish for true 3-way/4-way x16 SLI. Additional than that it is fairly a far above price as compared to the Rampage III Extreme for what it provides. Furthermore the XL-ATX form issue with 10 slot requirement limits you to choose cases, the Rampage III Extreme should fit most.

The ASUS Rampage III Extreme be able to use LGA1366 processors and have four PCI Express x16 slots, which are controlled by an NVIDIA NF200 bridge chip, and it also supports DDR3 memory. The accomplishment of SATA 6.0Gbps and USB 3.0, which means that performance excited will have all the things if they buy these boards. It also includes over clocking features, and it is laso capable of overclocked via Bluetooth. The other features are Gigabit LAN, eSATA and Firewire connectivity, USB 2.0 ports and 7.1 channel audio.
