upgrading Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to Q9650

I am currently using the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 in my system on which I am running the Windows 7 operating system and the performance of the system is quite good but now I wanted to increase the power of the Processor. I heard a lot about the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 processor which is available in the market and also heard that the performance is very good in that, the current processor of mine that is the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 which is running at 3.3 GHz at this moment. So in my view it will provide a 4 plus GHz power to the system. So, I wanted to know should I go for the upgrade and it is recommended or not and what will be the price of the upgrading to the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 processor; any recommendation on the issue will be appreciated by me to resolve the issue.

The additional cache builds a difference equivalent to about 5% clock speed, depending upon whether a given examination or application reimbursement from cache, so I did guess it would be more of a differentiation between two same kind of the things with a little difference in them. If you can do the improve or upgrade that is sell the Intel core Quad Q6600 and buy the Intel core Quad 9650 for a net minute amount, go for it, but I don't know how economically you can get the Q9650. However except you is specially CPU limited or can only have enough money to a CPU upgrade and must have it I don't know that it would be helping you. If you don't have a solid state drive that would be a additional worthy all-around upgrade that you can keep using for a while.

As you have mentioned that you want to upgrade your system to the Intel Core Quad 9650 but before that tell me the system configuration that you are using for your system such as the Motherboard, Ram capabilities and others as there are different system requirements for the Intel Core Quad 9650 which are very different from the Intel Core Quad 6600 processor that you used in the past. So first provide the details about the system then it will be easier for me to provide the solution.

Re: upgrading Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to Q9650

The system that I am using is consists of the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R Motherboard with the Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 processor which has a power of the 2.5 GHz. It has two RAM of both 2 GB each making the total memory of the 4 GB and it has a XFX GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Core 216 Graphic car which is more than enough to play games on the system. The monitor that I am using is the Acer P243WAid Black-Silver 24" 2ms and it has a hard drive of 500 GB. So, now please tell me that I should go for the Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor or not and also I wanted to know the price of the Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor; any suggestion on the topic will be appreciated to resolve the problem.

The system configuration that you have mentioned above is more than enough to use the Intel core 2 Quad 9650 processor on the system. The Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 provides the performance of 3.0 GHz which is more than the Intel core 2 Quad 6600 processor. If you have enough money then you can go for these new processor otherwise the current Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 I more than enough to fulfill your gaming needs. So, in my advice you should stick with the current Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 processor as it saves your money.

Re: upgrading Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to Q9650

If you want to buy the New Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor in India then you can get it at the price of 1600 rupees which is 6000 rupees more than the Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 cost in the current market. You can buy this Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor from any of the authorized dealer of the Intel or directly from the Intel Gallery. In my advice you should go for the New Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor which runs at 3.0 GHz which is much greater than the previous Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 processor so go for the Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 processor to resolve your issue.
