    Normal Range for E5200 Temperature.

I am using the E5200 processor in my motherboard. I feel that the temperature of it is higher than the normal. I don’t know the exact temperature for this therefore I cannot say this surely. When I checked in the BIOS then it shows me the reading of 42C which I think is high temperature for this. If you know the normal temperature for this processor then please let me know. If the temperature that I am getting is more t5hen the normal then please tell me any way to reduce the temperature. Thank you.

    Hello,

I think that the temperature that you are getting is normal because I have seen the temperature for the CPU is up to 74C which is very high as compare to the temperature in your case. Don’t worry that will not harm your computer anymore. If you want more information about E5200 then you can click on this link and it will let you to the page where you will find the specification for this.

Use cooling system for your computer.

OK, if you feel that the temperature of your computer is higher than the normal one and if that is creating problem for you then you should use the cooling system for your computer. There are many cooling system available on internet and you can search for them. Look at the specifications for them and choose the best that you feel. Implement that with your computer and it will reduce the temperature of your system to a great extends.

What is the fan speed that you are using? If it is 1700+ RPM then this means that the C1E is enabled for your BIOS. C1E is nothing but the CPU smart fan control. My suggestion to you is to turn off the BIOS and EIST. If you disable the C1E then you will find that the fan will spin at 3100+ RPM and this will reduce the temperature for your system to about 5 degree. I he implemented the stock cooler for my computer with E5200 OC to 3.4 GHz (272 * 12.5 @ 1.25V). Idle temperature for my computer is 52 C after running it about 1 hour it reaches to 72C. I hope that this will help you solve the issue.
