    Cannot flash bios

    Hello,
    I have a computer that has about 10 years (Motherboard A-Trend ATC-6150, bios. I will wish to flash the bios, because it does not recognize my PCI extension card with USB2.0 ports, (The computer does not start when I insert it) On the site of the manufacturer is paying I think, so please or can I find this file and download it for free. (Pentium II 266MHz, 192Ram, DD2go, 16MB graphics card, Windows 2000 Pro Sp4). Can you help me with this? Thank you for your advice.

    Even I do have a similar kind of a problem, It's a PCI card branded ATM. I'll try tonight to remove the other expansion cards. If it does not work I flash the bios. Till then if you can suggest me some tricks then it would be great. Thank you.

    You never know, just in case:
    - Remove the card WINmodem pci rtc.
    Because I was able to install the driver USB 2, but no problem at startup.

    If The updated BIOS Needs to Be, You Can Get With The diskette was updated BIOS
    from your system supplier. The BIOS diskette includes:
    "Awdflash.exe" - BIOS update utility program
    "Awdflash.doc"
    "(Update BIOS filename With version number). Bin"

    The update procedure IS have followings:
    1. Boots the system to DOS mode in a normal manner ".
    2. The updated insert diskette to drive A (or B).
    3. Change working directory to floppy drive, A or B, Which Contains the BIOS update diskette. - Type "a: \" or "b: \", "ENTER".
    4. Run the BIOS update utility - Type "awdflash", "ENTER".
    5. Type "(update BIOS file name With version number). Bin", ENTER.
    6. If you do not want to save the old BIOS Type "N" When the screen displays The message: "Do you want to save BIOS (Y / N)?".
    7. Type "Y" When the screen shows The message: "Are you sure to program (Y / N)?".
    8. Follow instructions Displayed On The Screen. DO NOT remove the BIOS update diskette The From The floppy drive nor turn power off The System Until The BIOS update IS Completed.
    9. Turn the power off. Clear the data in CMOS According To The Procedure Described in the previous page.
    10. Turn the system power on and test your system That is Working Properly.

    The flash does not work. awdflash.exe I launched the program, I typed the exact name of the file, it asks me if I want to save the old bios I made "Yes" ca save it but after that does not and it gives me "The program file's part number Does not Match With Your system!". (I should point out that saving the old bios is 384KB while the new bios is only 128KB), so I assume that this is perhaps not the correct file.
